Rhythmic Fission is a collection of stylized reworkings of both well-known and somewhat obscure classical pieces. Preeminent DJs in the world of electronic music including Tracy Young, Dan the Automator, and Dr. Nachstrom have produced new angles to works by legendary composers such as Bach, Verdi, Varese and others. The revisitations themselves are innovative, contemplative, and often exuberant interpretations of the selected Classical music, producing a broad spectrum of sound and feeling. Standout tracks include cuts by Tracy Young, the Sofa Surfers, and Dan the Automator.
